WWE Smackdown ECW Live in Manila

I’ve been to rock concerts, thrown around a mosh pit and was almost crushed in a stampede at a rock awards event but I’ve never seen a live wrestling match, staged or otherwise.

With that said, WWE and ECW will be live in Manila this July. Can someone please take me to this event:

I want to go but I can’t go alone since I’d feel like a loser and none of my friends are interested in these kinds of things. Anyone want to take me?

Herve Leger Dress

First off, I don’t really wear dresses but after seeing this particular dress Blair Waldorf wore on “The Grandfather” episode of Gossip Girl, it made me want to wear one just like it.

After some research, I found that beautiful dress Blair wore was an Herve Leger:

Unfortunately, it’s no longer available in the Bloomingdale’s and Herve Leger web sites. I really, really, REALLY want that dress. Anyone who can get me that dress, I will love you for the rest of my life.

Blessings

A week or so ago, my Dad forwarded me two messages on email which I didn’t read until a couple of days later when he asked me if I read them.

After reading, one of them really got me thinking. It’s about faith and blessings. Basically, expect to be blessed and if not, let go because there will be something better that will come your way.

Hrmmm… Interesting. I tried it out and instead of waking up hating the new day, I made myself feel happy thinking that I will be blessed today.

This morning, I wake up because of a freaking black out and unbearable summer heat at 8:08. Ugh! I couldn’t stand it. I’m used to airconditioners and not having that was awful. I usually sleep until noon (don’t tell my boss and anyone I work with because I maintain that I always wake up at around 8 am) and had 3-4 hours of sleep left in me.

After more than an hour of fanning myself and twisting and turning and still not getting to sleep, the power goes back on and I decide to get to work. No need to wait until noon if I can’t sleep through noon.

Five or so minutes after opening my laptop and my Opera, Firefox, etc. and not even getting to play Mafia Wars yet, I got a Y!M from my boss asking me to do something. Wow.

Let me just say that my boss doesn’t Y!M me that often. I usually email him my reports (just to say I’m still alive and I’m worth what the company’s paying me) and he doesn’t reply most of the time. Last January, he only Y!M-ed me twice, once in February and March, and twice in April. You get the picture.

So, for him to send me a message at that particular moment after those circumstances, I was amazed. If it wasn’t for the black out making me get up earlier than usual, I would not have been awake to reply to his message and he would have thought that my lazy ass was still asleep.

Ahahaha! That black out was a blessing indeed. Expect to be blessed. Not a bad way of thinking.
